Well, Sheila is just a young and independent Hispana who was born in the heart of Cuba and raised in Miami. Growing up in paradise, she still managed to get herself a college degree, and developed her passion for all things business and art. She now has two mini unicorns named Arlo and Yetti, and a tiny lion named Binx. In addition to that she has a a beautiful wife whose eyes are pretty famous in the lash world.

Before my journey began as a lash artist, my exposure to the beauty industry started when I was just a little girl.

My earliest memory as a child was when I was ten. Another little girl on my school bus asked me “Why did your mom tell the bus driver to drop you off at the salon?” , and the truth was, the salon was my after school program. My mom had become a nail artist shortly after we immigrated to Florida from Cuba in 1994. Being exposed to the beauty industry so young gave me a creative outlet that turned into my favorite kind of art to create. Especially once I noticed what an Xcape beauty is for women and the power behind promoting self-care.

Fast forward to now, I am a five-time certified eyelash technician and have traveled all around to attain these certifications by las mejores in this industry. Then eyebrows just came as second nature, and I’ve been in love with framing the face ever since!

Well, if Sheila’s passion for beauty and incredible artistry is not enough of a reason, maybe her work ethic is. It’s time to geek out. Sheila won this cool award, which is like winning a Grammy award for pestañas called, Victoires du Regard Eyelash Extension World Championship.She is second in the United States and 14th in the world. Competing is something she is looking to continue to get into more. For Sheila continuing to push herself to be the absolute best I can be is a daily activity.
